EFA Supplements Better Than Ritalin Say Scientists

Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a rapidly growing problem in the Western world.

It is estimated that 5-10% of school-age children (mostly boys) in Europe suffer from the disorder. Comparative figures for the USA and Australia are 3-7% and 11% – which is a frightingly high statistic for something that requires enforced medication.

Major symptoms of the disorder are difficulty in sustaining attention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity. ADHD is also associated with learning difficulties in reading, spelling, and math and may involve psychiatric problems that follow the child into adulthood. Read More

Why Everyone Should Own a Network Marketing Business.

“Why Everyone Should Own a Network Marketing Business.”Robert Kiyosaki and Rich Dad Book
by Robert Kiyosaki

A friend I flew with in Vietnam called me the other day. He said, “I’ve been laid off again. What do I do now?”

Jim and I went through flight school and Vietnam together. When we returned to the States, he got a job as a pilot with the airlines and I began building my business. Jim was absolutely in love with his work. He loved flying and the company he worked for.

Unfortunately, the company was Pan American, which for those of you who are old enough to know, Pan Am went out of business, even though it was once the number one airline in America.

After five years of taking odd jobs, he finally was rehired by an airline whose name I will not mention, because it is still in business today, but just barely. This is the airline he was laid off from.

How To Win Friends & Influence People By Dale Carnegie

You’ve probably heard about this book, as it’s one of those titles that have become part of the cultural lexicon (like CATCH-22).

I wonder if Carnegie knew when he began his courses and wrote this book, that people would still be reading, studying and benefiting from it, over 95 years later?

I doubt it, but when you tap into fundamental aspects of human nature in a way that helps people … that’s what happens. Getting along with people harmoniously is one of the most crucial aspects of leading a happy and successful life, and this book gives you these winners tips.

As this is the topic of our next Savvy Team Self-Development Program, starting January 2011 – we wanted to give you a ‘heads-up’ to make sure you put your Friday evenings aside for the whole of January and the first two in February… don’t miss this FREE event!

Dental Health is Important for Longevity & Disease Prevention!

healthy teeth and gums linked to disease prevention

Turns out your smile tells the world a lot about you – not just your dental health, but your overall health, too.

We pay little attention to our teeth and gums when dealing with general health. High blood pressure, diabetes and a host of other illnesses are treated by a trip to the GP not your dentist. Yet, if you neglect your gums and pearly whites, heart problems, diabetes, and (guys!) even erectile dysfunction may not be far behind.

Yes, there is plenty of research showing that gum disease can contribute to these and many other seemingly unrelated illnesses and therefore it’s not a surprise to hear that your body needs to be treated wholistically, for it to be healthy.
