No More Asthma, ‘GORD’, Diarrhoea or Liver Issues: How ‘Being Savvy’ Changed My Life!

Saturday Success Story: Paula shares the impact that ‘Being Savvy’ made for her wellbeing and that of her dog Bessie too!

“I began on the Savvy Team recommended probiotic and prebiotic complex and it was like magic – the problem went away. I rarely have a bowel issue today.

I had also been suffering from GORD issues (gastro-oesophageal reflux disease) and taking Nexium and Tazac for years.

On this program I have been able to eliminate the need for that medication completely.”

It was at a bush picnic with the Karawatha Forest Protection Society, of which I am now their Secretary,  that my story with the Savvy Team all started . . .

I stumbled across Savvy Team member Alan, in the forest while we were both on a bush walk and happened to be walking side by side.  He heard my persistent cough and after enquiring about it, he suggested that he may be able to help me.

I have suffered from conditions such as asthma and bronchitis for many years and this had been a very bad year for me.  In addition to the asthma and bronchitis, I had a nasty and very inconvenient problem of diarrhoea and loose stools particularly in the morning. I always had to get out of bed 2 hours before leaving the house to allow time for eating and ablutions.

Little did I know how simple the solution would be . . .

I began on the Savvy Team recommended probiotic and prebiotic complex and it was like magic – the problem went away. I rarely have a bowel issue today. I had also been suffering from GORD issues (gastro-oesophageal reflux disease) and taking Nexium and Tazac for years. On this program I have been able to eliminate the need for that medication completely.

I had started with some basic nutrition such as trace elements and a combination of multi-vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and I’m sure this contributed to my healing.

Asthma & Bronchitis Symptoms Gone

To assist with my asthma and bronchitis condition, it was suggested that I try a particular herbal blend for the immune system and upper-respiratory tract, along with my everyday nutrition. This really helped! I have been able to get rid of the asthma and bronchitis symptoms with the exception of an allergy to smoke.

Some time later I had a bad run-in with skin cancer – a basil cell carcinoma on my nose. What should have been a simple procedure turned into a nightmare. The doctor did not “get it all” with my first operation.  So he allowed 5 weeks for it to heal a little and then tried again whilst I was in ‘the land of nod’. This involved taking a skin graft from behind my left ear.

Concerned about the scaring and healing of the skin graft and operation, it was suggested by my Savvy Team support members that I try a special botanical oil complex that has helped other people with things like wrinkles and scarring. In addition I used a cream they suggested that among other things contains aloe and rose hip oil. Whilst you can still see the graft, I believe that the use of these products has enhanced the healing process tremendously and reduced scarring.

My next big win was the Savvy Team’s Rapid Fat Loss program. I wasn’t hugely overweight but the weight I was carrying was mostly around my middle. I lost 6 kg whilst on the program and since then I have lost another 2 kg through better eating. The program does what it says – it targets the fat areas quickly. I am so proud of my new shape!

Troubling blood tests – with a happy ending . . .

Although a number of my issues were on the mend, I received some troubling blood tests results. My bad cholesterol was a bit high and my HDL/LDL ratio was not the best.

That was the bad. Now for the ugly.

There are 3 chemistry readings for liver problems and mine all said my liver was not coping. I was able to access a liver health complex product and by taking that along with a better diet and less alcohol consumption I have got these readings down to normal and my cholesterol has improved too. My perfect liver readings have continued.

How about a dog that has benefited too?

I have an 11 year old Beagle called Bessie and she has both arthritis and Cushings Disease. I give her glucosamine, antioxidants, and some immune boosting products and her Cushing’s is now stable and she rarely limps with the arthritis in both back legs.

A much healthier owner and a healthier ‘best friend’ too, thanks to the Savvy Team.
