#5 – Cheating! Simply put, it’s cheating on the diet – or perhaps misunderstanding the importance of following our protocol. What if your intake of calories was higher than we recommend? Even though it may be only a small amount, your body shifts to start pulling your energy from your food calories again, instead of from your fat store
The whole purpose of the diet is to shift the bodies’ efforts to pull your energy from those stored fat deposits. Even if you’re just slightly above the 500 calorie intake then it will change the source on where the body will pull its energy from. So stick to the plan, for the best benefit and most loss over your 21 days!
#4- Moisturizes. Most women are horrified when told that for the duration of treatment they cannot use face creams or have massages. Many find it hard to believe that when oils, creams and ointments are applied to the skin, they are absorbed and their known or ‘hidden’ ingredients can interfere with weight reduction. The elimination of toxic chemicals on this program is crucial, and have a greater effect than if they had been eaten. As living being, humans are particularly adverse to thousands of chemically derived ingredients used in every day products. It is not unusual to have a bowel movement only once a day while on this diet and provided plenty of fluids are taken, this can be normal even if the individual is use to more frequent evacuations. Improper calorie intake is probably one of the most common reasons of people not to lose weight on the program. When the menu calls for a 1 serving of vegetables, 1 serving of fruit, and a protein we often substitute other foods to fill in for the ones we don’t want. Or we succumb to our temptations and substitute another fruit instead of the vegetable.
The body demands a specific balance and any deficiency will force the body to pull its energy from other sources. For example, fruits have a large amount of natural sugar. If we double up on the natural amount of sugar then the body will begin to shift to pull our energy from that source, as a result our body will burn through it very quickly and then as a result we will start to get hungry, and our body will demand a higher intake of calories.
Our body while on the program is meant to be in a state of ‘caloric deficiency’. If the balance of this deficiency is knocked off even just a little bit, even for just one day, it can throw off the results by a large amount for days to come. The nutrient levels, the chemical interruptions, the excess calories all interfere with the fat mobalisation and body stabilazion.
