A recent study looked at dietary trends for people in 195 countries between 1990 and 2017: they found that 1 in 5 deaths are linked to poor diet!
Yet . . . we all know that the right foods in the right amounts are key to a long and healthy life.
However less than 20% of us are getting enough nutrients daily. Functional Medicine Director Dr. Mark Hyman says. “Food is the biggest contributor, globally, to chronic disease and death ….I think it’s important to focus on not only what to remove – too much sugar, processed foods, fast foods – and focus on what to add.”
