Bringing Your Life Into Balance

“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.” Albert Einstein

Well, I guess everybody knows the physicist Albert Einstein but not many people actually understand the theories he invented and the importance of them. He was an amazing and intelligent person for sure. And what I particularly appreciate is his attitude towards cycling. There are many quotes about life and cycling related to Einstein, like “I thought of that (the theory of relativity) while riding my bicycle.”. I’m not sure whether they are actually originally his, but they’re good anyhow.

I particularly like the analogy represented by what Albert Einstein said riding his bicycle in Santa Barbara, 1933 “Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.” We are hardly aware of how we maintain balance and coordinate our movements except when we learn new tasks. We usually forget the frustration and false steps of our early years but later in life, we might learn the steps as we learn to ride a bicycle or drive a car, when we are forced to think about how we are moving and train ourselves to move and balance in new ways.  Read More

Let Your Light Shine!

Marianne Williamson famously said: “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” Read More

How Does Energy Affect Us?

Harness The Energy And Grow

We all have felt the difference in the ‘vibes’ if someone is angry with us, or if they are in love with us. In fact it’s very difficult to not be affected by it. Energy is what makes the world go round, and in many more ways than one!

In physics, energy (from the Greek energeia, “activity, operation”, from energos, “active, working”) is a scalar physical quantity that describes the amount of work that can be performed.

Energy exists in several forms. The energy in heat, kinetic or mechanical energy, electrical, there’s energy in light and wind, there’s the energy of emotions as just expressed, our physical energy (otherwise known as vitality), the energy that is measured with radio waves, TV, electricity, or with kirlian photography (and normal photography too), all these are expressions of energy, or when put another way – expressions of vibration. Breaking Through Your Limitations

Break Through Those Limitations

Breaking Through Your Limitations

“What we can or cannot do,
what we consider possible or impossible,
is rarely a function of our true capability.
It is more likely a function of our beliefs about who we are.”

~ Tony Robbins ~

How many times have you surprised yourself and done something you had once only hoped to do, or done something you thought was impossible?

Even though I’ve surprised myself many times, I can still get caught up in doubt. Often we think that once we achieve success or fulfill our dreams, we then get the prize of staying “there” for the rest of our lives. Read More
